USB-Anschluß funktioniert nicht mehr

Hallo,

habe mal wieder kleines Problem, seit heute funktioniert mein USB-Anschluß (1.1) nicht mehr richtig. Bisher konnte ich verschiedene Sticks anschließen und auch ins System einbinden. Wenn ich jetzt einen Stick anschließe, leuchtet zwar die Lampe im Stick, aber er taucht nicht als Laufwerk unter home auf. Beim letzten Mal, als ich den Stick angeschlossen habe, hat es so komisch "geknackst", hoffentlich habe ich keinen Kurzschluß verursacht?

Habt ihr ein Tipp, was ich machen kann? (habe ein P2 Notebook IBM 570, 333 Mhz, 192Ram, Knoppix 6.0.1 HD installiert)

Steck den stick ein, danach in der Konsole "dmesg" eingeben. Die letzten Zeilen sind dann interessant...

Heute Nacht hatte ich den Stick noch mal zum laufen gebracht, aber jetzt wieder kein Erkennen möglich. Lämpchen leuchtet. Ich habe zwei USB, einen am Port-Replikator, dieser funktioniert.
